My fiancé said, "Go with your gut."  Honestly Lauren, I saw 5 other florists and the experience I had with them could not even compare to how caring and wonderful you were with me.  It was like I was talking to one of my close friends about my wedding, you got just as excited as I was!  And ultimately, I wouldn't want anyone else designing the flowers for my wedding.  And when I mentioned that the roses were going to cost more than I expected, you were so good about bringing things more in my budget.  In fact, I LOVE the suggestions you provided to create the look we want and the price we can afford.  Thanks so much again, Lauren! As an artist and a professional, I appreciate the creativity and expertise continually demonstrated by Academy Florists. It’s always a pleasure to be able to refer them to my clients because of their own artistry and professionalism. I know without a doubt that the floral arrangements they produce will be beautiful, original, and reflect the personality and style of each couple, and that the customer will be treated with the highest level of care and consideration.

Looking at flowers, I had a pretty clear vision of the look I wanted - I just needed someone fabulous to help me pull it off and fine tune the flower selection!  After much research and meeting with many of the florists in the wedding shows, Academy repeatedly was on the top of my list of favourites.  Once I found out that Lauren was the wedding consultant, (a fabulous friend of a friend and very talented wedding expert!), my mind was made up.  

From the start, working with Lauren and Academy was great. In our meeting, we discussed what I wanted, and Lauren gave such great ideas to execute it - even with one centerpiece being a little less 'everyday', they had the perfect sources and made sure that it came in as promised. The back and forth with Lauren after the consult made sure that we were taken care of.  Even after I told Lauren I had won a free bouquet from the wedding show (which didn't end up going through, thankfully Lauren still took care of everything for me!), Lauren sent the florist a note explaining detail by detail, flower by flower, to ensure my whole wedding would be cohesive.  WOW.  Not many people would do that for their competition.  The day of the wedding, I remember was such a blur, and at first didn't even feel like my wedding day ... until my flowers showed up.  They were spectacular, and that was the thing that put the day into perspective and got me even more giddy for the rest of the day.

Walking into Bridges, the centerpiece took my breath away.  We received (and still receive so many complements on them.  They were executed so perfectly and were better than I could have hoped or imagined!  The guests were so happy to take them home - and I was sad to part with them!!

Thank you once again to Lauren, and Academy for help in making our wedding day spectacular - you will be the only name I recommend, and the only supplier we will go to for our floral needs in the future.  You are the best!!!

To say that you did a good job with the flowers for Laura's wedding would be an understatement.  It was all so beautiful.  From the bouquets, church decorations, table centrepieces and extra touches, it was all we had hoped it would be.  Perfect!  You did such an amazing job and we appreciate it so much!

We could not be happier with the flowers created for our beautiful Sept 28th evening wedding at The Gates on Roblin.  Irene and Lauren were so helpful and understanding throughout the planning process, and then when the big day arrived, I was speechless when I first saw our bouquets. I told Irene to just use her creative judgement, and my bouquet with cream roses, green berries and hydrangeas, believe it or not is still in bloom in a vase in my home, 2 weeks later!  Everything turned out so lovely, from the bouquets, to the arrangements for the ceremony, to the centrepieces to the flowers on the cake...all tied in to our theme, and created an elegant and beautiful backdrop for our special day.  Thank you, Academy Florists!!!

I still have dreams about them ... Nate already promised to call you every year on our anniversary to recreate my bouquet! Everyone always comments on how awesome it was to have my bouquet made up of the 5 individuals flowers of my bridesmaids' bouquets ... and I know they really appreciate having their favourite flowers!

Thank you so much!  The flowers you created for our wedding were absolutely beautiful.  Your imagination carried far when all I really expressed was that I wanted purple roses.  I didn't even give you a picture and you made my dream flowers come alive.  I truly appreciated your personal touches, warm, honest and caring nature.  Which is why we chose you, it was not only about delivering at a lower cost but believing in you to deliver wonderful flowers for our special day.  You succeeded.  The meaning of the purple roses comes with a story of my favourite Uncle who was a florist and passed away, who always knew my favourite colour as a child was purple and promised that one day when I marry, he will arrange my flowers and they would be purple roses. (which was how and why I knew purple roses existed) Thank you again in so many ways... The bouquets lasted for about 2 weeks, that was amazing. The corsages and boutonnieres were beautiful. The tall flower arrangement was stunning!

I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know that the wedding and the bouquets were beautiful!  My bouquet lasted 10 days after the wedding.  We kept it in water and it stayed fresh and beautiful.  The closed lilies kept opening and it was wonderful to watch it change. And my girls loved the rose bouquets. Everything was perfect!

We chose Academy Florist to do the centerpiece arrangements for our reception. My experience with them from my first consult to our wedding day was without a hitch and they did a fabulous job. You really rely on the professionals you choose and Academy Florist is just the kind of business you need on your side. They were very attentive to detail, offered their creativity and expertise while really listening to what I wanted and had envisioned, and made the whole process stress-free. It was just as it should be—you don't have to worry about a thing. I found glass bowls and stones elsewhere that I loved, and chose to use these for the table centerpieces. I brought them to my first consultation, and then left them to the designers to do their magic. The arrangements were modern, clean and unique, and really suited the bowls I wanted to use. I remember looking out over the room at dinner and admiring how beautiful they were, pulling everything together. They did an absolutely fantastic job and the flowers lasted all night long. It was simply a pleasure to work with these ladies. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. They value their clients and are definitely worthy of your business.
